dietary restrictions

i halal

all the meat we serve is halal but we are not a halal certified establishment. we also have friendly farm dogs on the property.

ii vegetarian, vegan & pescatarian

we are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian dietary requests if given sufficient notice.

please use the dietary restriction form when checking out of your communal lunch / event booking, or let us know your dietary restrictions in the course of making a private booking.

kindly note that we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions for communal lunches / events specifically marked ‘dietary request unavailable’ on their booking pages.

iii nuts, gluten & dairy

we are not able to omit ingredients or otherwise change our recipes for guests with nut, gluten and dairy sensitivities, but we can offer alternative dishes if given sufficient notice. in any case, there is normally enough variety in our set menu to cater for everyone, including individuals with these sensitivities.

iv garlic & onion

we are unable to omit garlic and onion in dishes that contain them.

v allergies

as all our food is prepared in the same kitchens using the same equipment and utensils, we cannot guarantee that there is no trace of any one particular ingredient in any one dish, e.g. nuts. as such, our food is not suitable for anyone with severe food allergies.


cancellations

by you:-

i private bookings on weekdays

private bookings on weekdays are cancellable with at least 30 days notice prior to the booked date, whereupon your deposit will be refunded minus an administrative charge of 4%. cancellation within 30 days of your booked date results in forfeiture of your deposit.

ii private bookings on weekends

private bookings on weekends are cancellable with at least 90 days notice prior to the booked date, whereupon your deposit will be refunded minus an administrative charge of 4%. cancellation within 90 days of your booked date results in forfeiture of your deposit.

iii communal lunches & events

all our communal lunches and events are for limited seats only therefore we cannot offer refunds if you are unable to attend after booking. however, you are welcome to transfer your place to family and friends, or keep your funds in credit for a future event, in which case please notify us at least 14 days before the date of the event you are unable to attend.

by us:-

we reserve the right to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient numbers, pandemic, or inclement weather / hazardous haze levels. in this unlikely event, you will be notified beforehand and fully refunded.


nannies & helpers

our policy is that nannies and domestic helpers are guests. please include them in your guest count.


chauffeurs & bodyguards

chauffeurs and bodyguards may be left out of your guest count provided they wait in our designated staff waiting area.


pets

we are animal lovers and have a number of farm dogs on the property. although friendly to guests, they are nevertheless extremely territorial when it comes to other animals. we therefore do not allow guests to bring their pets. apologies.


balloons

balloons take centuries to biodegrade and damage wildlife. we have a no balloon policy at the farm. kindly do not bring balloons.


safety

you are welcome to walk around our farm during your visit. however, please bear in mind that we are a working farm within the rainforest. this means not only will there be farm machinery at work, a large variety of jungle wildlife is also common. if you intend to explore, please wear appropriate outdoor clothing, comfortable covered footwear and stay on the footpaths. as there are unprotected waterways and an electrified fence surrounding the property, children must be accompanied by adults at all times.


dress code

our restaurant does not impose a dress code but we do recommend smart casual. we reserve the right to refuse entry to guests attired in a manner offensive to local custom and sensitivities.


etiquette

i people

we want everyone to have an enjoyable experience at the farm and ask that guests treat each other and our staff with respect. our staff are an excellent bunch, and good humoured, but please be aware that some may not speak english.

ii garden

we take great care in the cultivation of our fresh produce. kindly help us by keeping off the planted beds. do not eat, touch or remove plants, vegetables, fruits, flowers, berries and leaves. please refrain from fishing or swimming in the ponds.

cancellations

by you:-

we are not able to offer refunds for products sold in the online farm shop once payment has been made. you are however welcome to re-route your order to family or friends. please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled delivery if this is required.

by us:-

we reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any farm shop deliveries due to insufficient numbers or emergency. in this unlikely event, you will be notified and fully refunded (if cancelled).


receiving your orders

our food does not contain artificial preservatives and often includes delicate items that require refrigeration. as such, please ensure there is someone to receive your order and thereafter store it under the recommended conditions immediately. should there be no one at home to receive, kindly take delivery at your workplace or neighbour’s home.

for condominium dwellers, please do not leave your order at the security guard post beyond a short transit period.


arrival time

depending on your location and traffic conditions, your order may arrive 1pm to 5pm on friday. please contact us closer to the delivery date should you need to know a more exact arrival time.


preparation

some of our delivery meals require simple preparation and / or oven cooking before consumption. please be sure to follow preparation instructions included in the product packaging.


gift vouchers

i redeem

our gift vouchers may be redeemed against the value of bookings at our restaurant or purchases in our farm shop. please note they cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new voucher, or replaced after expiry.

to redeem your gift voucher, kindly enter the voucher code(s) when checking out of our restaurant booking system or farm shop.

ii insufficient value

if your booking or purchase value exceeds the value of the redeemed gift voucher(s), the balance may be paid by bank transfer, PayPal, debit or credit cards.

iii excess or unused value

excess or unused value of our gift vouchers will not be refunded and cannot be attributed to future transactions.

iv single use only

our gift vouchers are valid for single use only.

due to different checkout requirements, the checkout systems for our restaurant and our farm shop are separate and independent from each other. this means each individual voucher can only be used for either restaurant bookings OR farm shop purchases, not both. we therefore recommend purchasing separate and multiple vouchers to optimise redemption flexibility for your gift recipient(s).

v validity period

our gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. expired vouchers cannot be used and will not be refunded. the expiry date is shown on the gift voucher.

vi loss or theft

please keep your voucher serial number(s) safe from unauthorised redemption.

if you have lost your gift voucher(s) or suspect unauthorised activity, immediately notify us by phone or email providing proof of purchase and gift voucher serial number for verification. we’ll be happy to replace your lost gift vouchers should they remain unredeemed. unfortunately, redeemed gift vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.
